Standard Garages Range

The Scotts standard range of wooden garages can be supplied in various shapes and sizes, depending on your requirements. Manufactured from interlocking timbers, Scotts standard garages are an attractive addition to any property and are designed to last for many years.

The timbers are 45mm thick, and they have a rustic, Scandinavian look. They interlock at the four corners so ensuring a strong and durable structure. The buildings are available in three typical sizes, one incorporating space for a workshop area, although many other size increments can be accommodated. The standard garage range can also be supplied for self assembly, if preferred. Please contact the garages sales team for advice on additional size options, prices and installation options.

The standard garage sizes are available as follows:

Single Garage	5.4m x 3.6m (18' x 12')
Single Garage/workshop	5.4m x 4.2m (18' x 14')
Double Garage	5.4m x 6.0m (18' x 20')

Specification details for Scotts Standard Garages

The specification for the Standard Range is summarised below. For full specification details refer to the Timber Garages and Outbuildings brochure or speak to a member of the garages sales team.

BASE REQUIREMENTS - You are required to prepare a concrete base as specified, ready to take the completed timber building.

WALL CLADDING - Siberian Spruce log boards, 45mm x 115mm with double T & G planed profile. The timbers interlock at the corner joints.

ROOF CONSTRUCTION - Purlins supplied at 150mm x 50mm. Roof decking is 15mm exterior grade OSB boarding covered with heavy duty mineralised felt in slate grey or green as standard.

STANDARD DOORS - Framed, ledged and braced double doors and frames. External boarding is vacuum pressure impregnated T & G. Standard size available is 2.4m wide x 2.1m high.

Alternatively, steel up and over doors are available in a variety of designs and finishes. Standard sizes available: 2.1m wide x 2.1m high or 2.28m wide x 2.1m high.

BARGE BOARDS - All in selected pine timber, planed and vacuum pressure impregnated. A variety of designs are available to help personalise your interlocking wooden building.

GUTTERING - UPVC squareline guttering, supplied in black, complete with all fittings and square section downpipes.

PLANNING PERMISSION - Planning permission is usually required for the standard or bespoke garages and Scotts offers advice on presenting your application and handling the bureaucracy.
