Creating functional buildings for

Education, sport and the community

Creating building solutions for the next generation.

Scotts has given careful consideration to the specification of their timber-framed education, sports and community buildings, to create modern eco-friendly spaces that meet your budget.  Combining a superb architectural design, excellent service and a sustainable mindset, Scotts provides cost-effective and high-quality permanent solutions for increased space demand, for a wide variety of applications.

Different materials are chosen for each individual building, to provide texture and interest, while great emphasis is placed on creating a good quality, well ventilated environment to improve wellbeing and foster learning and community spirit.

Scotts bespoke timber buildings offer a compelling alternative to the cost uncertainty and disruption of a traditional extension or unsightly temporary modular alternatives.

The friendly team at Scotts of Thrapston has a wealth of experience in designing, manufacturing and installing a wide range of timber education and leisure buildings to suit almost any purpose.  Scotts offers a turnkey service from initial design through to completed building handover, to provide peace of mind and a hassle free experience.

The simplicity of a one-stop-shop approach means that schools, sports clubs, architects or local authorities only have to contract with one company. Scotts takes on the entire project leaving you to focus on the day job!

Creating building solutions

for the next generation.

The Scotts team will work hand in hand with you, throughout the process, ensuring you get exactly what you want, within budget and when you want it.  In short, the process is structured and straightforward.

Project Management

To ensure the smooth running of your building project, co-ordination is key. Scotts combines in-house design, manufacture and installation expertise with carefully selected consultants and sub-contractors to provide a seamless service.

 Architectural Design

Following your enquiry, the starting point is to meet on site to discuss your requirements. After carrying out a site survey Scotts will present you with an initial design proposal and quotation.

Planning & Building Regulations

After agreement of the final design and specification, Scotts will take your building through the planning and building regulations process, liaising with the local authority to receive approval for the project.

British Manufacture

Once approval is in place, it is time to place your order. Scotts then commences the manufacture of your building at its dedicated factory in Thrapston, preparing the building in flat-pack form. This offsite manufacture assists with the quick and efficient construction of a new timber framed structure.

As soon as the building has been manufactured offsite and the groundworks and service connections completed, installation of your building takes place often within a matter of weeks. The dedicated Scotts installation team ensures a high quality and safe construction.

Following the completion of the new building, it is formally handed over to you to ensure you are completely satisfied.
