There has been great excitement here at Scotts this year as we launch a new product aimed at the new-build market, as showcased at the recent National Homebuilding and Renovating Show.
Our new build casement and sash windows have been given third party accreditation with Part Q Compliance. The new build window range has been created to be traditional in style while fully complying with all current building regulations.
The sash window design includes click fit staff and parting bead, for ease of handling, installation and future maintenance. They have been tested, approved and third party certified for performance and security.
As the life of existing PVC windows comes to an end, there is a growing trend to replace them with stylish timber windows.
This new build range is complemented by the Scotts traditionally made refurbishment range of windows, specifically for property renovation. These windows help to make the correct appearance more attainable, especially for historic properties. Modern features include double glazing, ventilation and security, complying with current standards.
Scotts of Thrapston is also experienced in the design and manufacture of traditional period style windows that are sympathetic to a building’s history and the right appearance is attainable for Grade I and Grade II Listed properties, perhaps where a single-glazed appearance may be more in-keeping.
All of Scotts external window and door ranges come with market-leading warranties. With a 30-year warranty on timber, 10-year warranty on ironmongery, seals and glass and up to 10 years on paint – subject to correct care & maintenance.
