Scotts of Thrapston is currently installing a carbon efficient timber-framed Young Persons Centre in Lavenham, Suffolk.

We have been following the progress of the building and hope you will enjoy our timelapse film of the building being erected.

When finished the architecturally designed building will have capacity for 48 pupils and will include a bright and spacious purpose-built play space, staff room, office space and a separate ‘quiet room’ to support children with special education needs.

Katherine Eves, pre-school manager said “We are so excited to be providing the families of Lavenham, and surrounding areas, with a new care and educational, early year’s environment.”

The new pre-school and young persons centre will provide the ideal learning environment in which young children can thrive and achieve their full potential.  Furthermore, it will offer vital childcare places that will greatly benefit working families.
