pavilion features

Every Scotts building is a one-off giving you the ability to incorporate a variety of features and accessories to personalise it for your application

Working with private individuals, companies, architects, local authorities or sports clubs, Scotts staff have a wealth of experience in designing and manufacturing a wide range of timber pavilions and clubhouses to suit most purposes. The Scotts team will work hand-in-hand with you, throughout the process, ensuring you get exactly what you want, within budget.

Doors & windows

Scotts has a bespoke joinery division enabling doors and windows to easily be accommodated within pavilions and other timber buildings. Specialised windows and doors can be designed and manufactured by Scotts to suit individual requirements or to comply with planning regulations, as necessary. High security frames, locks or shutters can be incorporated.

Glazing options include obscured, toughened, tinted and laminated double glazed units as well as anti-bandit glass, to protect against damage even from a well-struck cricket ball. Extra wide doors for disabled access, high security doors for equipment stores and folding or sliding doors for open access can all be fitted by Scotts.

roof finishes

A wide range of roof finishes for your pavilion are available to suit your specific requirements. Trussed rafter roofs are supplied as standard, manufactured by Scotts own specialist Roof Structures division. Trusses can be supplied at a pitch to suit the chosen roof material.

Finishes include felt, felt tiles, Metrotile, sedum and cedar shingles through to clay or slate tiles to blend in with existing buildings. Scotts will ensure the building is structurally designed to cater for the chosen roof material.

cladding

Typically, Scotts pavilions utilise tongue and grooved shiplap boarding, to their own pattern. The cladding is pressure impregnated, by Osmose Naturewood, to give a long life expectancy. If preferred, however, customers can specify feather-edged boarding or a special profile to suit individual preferences.

Scotts generally specify European Redwood, Larch or Oak cladding as these materials are extremely versatile and durable. Stone or brick cladding can also be incorporated into a Scotts timber pavilion to offer a more traditional appearance.

colour finishes

Scotts supply timber buildings in a natural pressure treated finish, which require no further treatment. A building can be supplied with microporous stains or paints to suit your application or to comply with local authority planning regulations. A full range of colours can be supplied on request.

Soffits, barge boards, window and door surrounds can be individually finished to suit your precise colour scheme and to create
a truly distinctive pavilion for you, your village or your club.

additional features

Additional features can be incorporated into your timber pavilion including clocks, clock towers, verandahs and weather vanes, to suit your personal preference. Scotts will work with you and your local contractors to produce a fully lined and insulated building, if required, to meet Building Regulation approval.

The level of internal finish is your choice. At its simplest, Scotts will supply a completed pavilion shell which is ready for you to finish as you wish or at the other end of the scale, they will work in partnership with other trades to ensure everything is insulated, heated, plumbed, wired and decorated ready for the opening match of the season.
