Scotts of Thrapston has plenty of activity lined up to celebrate the RHS Hampton Court Garden Festival despite the cancellation of this popular event.

Scotts exhibits quintessentially English summerhouses every year at the festival and, as with the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, its cancellation came as a real blow, especially as we celebrate our centenary this year.

However, in its place, we have launched a major digital, video and social media campaign to mark the Hampton Court Garden Festival, which would have run from July 7th to July 12th.

We have produced four videos  that focus on our summerhouse models that would have been exhibited at the show, the Balmoral, the Sun Ray Garden Room, the Newhaven Corner summerhouse and the Burghley, giving members of the public a detailed look at what the garden buildings have to offer.

A dedicated web page will also be launched on our website which will feature the videos and photos from previous shows, as well as sharing memories of this great gardening event.

A special competition will be launched on Facebook on Saturday, July 4th, encouraging people to send in photos of their favourite garden flowers to be in with a chance of winning a 12-piece gardening tools set with a tote bag.

Scotts will also be sharing throwback images from past shows on our social media platforms and share a Pinterest board to celebrate many happy years exhibiting at this annual event.James Scott, Managing Director, said: “Our digital celebration of the RHS Chelsea Flower Show certainly proved a success and we hope our customers will join us in marking another great flower show on the gardening calendar. We are certainly looking forward to a wonderful week.”
