As Scotts of Thrapston gets ever closer to marking its centenary, we feel it is important to always keep our summerhouses fresh and up to date, which is why we have decided to launch four new summerhouse upholstery designs this year, at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show.
We have taken our inspiration from the four seasons and chosen designs that can perfectly match your mood – whether you are feeling bright and sunny or in a contemplative peaceful mood, there is a print for everyone.
We looked to the popular Silver Birch to evoke a vision of Spring, as it flowers during April and May. In early Celtic mythology, the birch symbolised renewal, and the fabric design helps to create a soothing place in which to watch your garden burst into life.
For the Summer, Scotts has produced Love Birds, inspired by Africa. This bright, cheerful print creates an upbeat feel; adding to the joy of a summer’s day spent relaxing or entertaining outside.
For the Autumn, Scotts turned its attention to woodland animals, many of whom begin hibernating as the weather turns colder. With an emphasis on the garden habitat, the cushions provide delightful images of hedgehogs, deers, owls, foxes, pheasants and ducks.
The thistle/acorn print for Winter has a calming element, with soft hues creating a quiet space in which to relax, read, and enjoy some ‘hygge’.
We constantly look to refresh and update our summerhouse ranges and believe these exciting, vibrant new summerhouse upholstery designs will really come into their own in a garden setting.
These new designs are being sold alongside the popular Butterfly and Linen Check, meaning that you can create the perfect summerhouse that suits you.
